THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this is a newly created Financial Analyst position that will play a key role in strengthening financial visibility, supporting commercial decisions and improving data integrity across the business. You will work closely with finance, operations and leadership teams, helping to connect financial and operational data to deliver clear, actionable insights.

Day-to-Day

  • Reconcile and validate data across accounting, ERP and operational systems
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles
  • Assist with month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and reporting schedules
  • Deliver management reports with clear variance analysis and performance insights
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand drivers of revenue, margin and cost performance
  • Contribute to ERP system migration and ongoing system improvements
  • Support tax reporting requirements and liaise with external advisors
  • Identify process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial or commercial analysis within a product-led or consumer business
  • Strong Excel capability, including modelling, reconciliation and data analysis
  • Experience working with ERP systems (migration exposure highly regarded)
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
  • Exposure to month-end close and working with external accountants or advisors
  • Basic understanding of Australian tax requirements
  • CPA/CA qualification (or working towards) preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights
  • Australian PR or citizenship required

SALARY

$110,000 – $120,000 + Super (depending on experience)
